Mexico Visa Information

We strongly suggest you to take your time to read all this useful information before you come to Cancun or any other part of Mexico.

The Government of Mexico requires that all travelers present a valid passport for entry into Mexico.

After proof of citizenship has been verified, you will receive a free Mexican Tourist Card, which you must keep with you at all times when in Mexico. This permit must be given to the officials upon departure. If you lose your Mexican Tourist Card you can obtain a permission to leave the country from the local Immigration Office, the address is Ave. Carlos Nader # 1 x Av. Uxmal Smza. 5 Cancun, Q. When arriving in Cancun you have to pass through the immigration service counters after you receive your free tourist card proceed to the luggage collection area, have handy your customs declaration form since you have to pass the last custom checkpoint where your luggage could be revised by federal agents. It is not allowed you to bring to Mexico any type of firearms, knives, drugs, dairy, poultry, vegetables, plants, ham, beef, any type of prepared meals, wildlife without legal permits and certificate of vaccination. Avoid annoyances and delays in your admittance into the country, do not bring any of the items listed above.
